Procurement
In many companies Procurement’s role has evolved into a strategic business partner, and for good reasons. I believe procurement should be driving value! By aligning your procurement objectives with the business goals and securing the right supply base we will increase the products competitiveness, minimize risk and support successful growth of the company.
My view on supply chain has a focus on below main areas:
- Strategy and Risk Management – We define direction based on the overall business plan, securing alignment with stakeholders.
- Organization and Competencies – Availability of the right skillset. What is needed – is there a gap? Potential plan for improvement.
- Supplier Management and Sourcing – We are evaluating the supplier base, is it managed? Plan and execution of sourcing activities.
- Quality, Cost and Lead Time – With a focus on improving competitiveness, we view all aspects of the supply chain implications.
- Sustainability and Compliance – Depending on industry, regulations are variating, but regardless, it always must be respected.
- Procurement Excellence and Digitalization – Data availability and visibility, driving performance on facts.
- Finance – Are procurement contributing to the financial performances, cashflow, inventory, risk etc.
Depending on the strategic direction, we work with outsourcing, insourcing and offshoring as tools to find the right set-up that will drive performance and ensure the right cost structure for your company.
